Hark children of the Clans,

To the wisdom of Kerensky and your forebears,
Know what has come before;
Remember it as you strive toward the future.

Two score as one mount, four steeds of the Great Father

Descended to return light to paradise, to bring peace to Hell,
But faced the gauntlet that would test them all

Passage 24
Liberation and justice was their goal,

To purge the corruption and to make the land whole,
But through stone and sky and sand and sea,
Bitter Tear's would be Circe's legacy.

Passage 25
Like shining stars the warrior's descended,

A fiery rain to purify and punish,
Yet even angels can be corrupted,
Brought low by base desires.

If it weren't for the fact that with [-SC-] I've also been fortunate enough to drop with the similarly awesome/friendly 267th & DERP, I'd say I can't imagine finding a more welcoming, fun, friendly & tightly knit/effective group of folks.

But because I have dropped with those guys while under the generous welcome of [-SC-], I'm gonna have to just say; to anyone looking, these guys know how to have fun & play a really tight game, they're a great bunch & I very much doubt you'd regret giving them a look.

Passage 26
Bloody vengeance would be Eden's fate,

The heart of darkness,
Doomed to wait,
For the Sons of Kerensky,
Grim and merciless.
-- The Remembrance, Passage 26, Verse 2, Lines 4-8[8]

Have recently come back to MWO after a hiatus around the time that pre-order packages for clan mechs first came to light. Since then, a few of the groups I used to play with have either atrophied to a scant few members remaining, or disappeared altogether. I have currently aligned myself in game with Smoke Jaguar and am interested in playing with a unit from this clan.

Passage 104
Remember Franklin Osis,

Father of the Clan.
Three strengths he gave us:
The jaguar's spring that brings the enemy down,
The jaguar's claws that rend the enemy's heart,
The jaguar's taste of the enemy's hot blood.
-- The Remembrance, Passage 104, Verse 18, Lines 5-10[33]

Can we get together more and drop CW? with other groups leaving Csj temporary or permanently we are one of the few and maybe even largest groups left to fight it. We have a chance now to get our name on planets and it would be nice to see that more often.

Many players have become bored or frustrated with CW. For that reason, I haven't been pushing for our members to play it. The latest quirk update has given me a couple new tactical ideas that I would like to try though. I'll drop in CW whenever you guys want to.

+1

I care so much about this game right now, that i agreed upon tempo switch from CSJ to IS (Me, Jaguar and clanner at heart)
Wanted to buy the ebon jaguar collection. Yeah, almost did it again. Almost gave them even more money. No thank you, will be playing Eve online for couple of months at least, till PGi manages to impress me once again.

CW

- Maps so shinny, but they are all the same, at the end only a corridor with a gate right in a middle of it, gens and orbital gun. (stuff i was waiting for 2 years...)

- Nerfing of clans while overbuffing IS. Sounds legit.

Its ironical, because thats what they've been doing all the time. Over buffing, over nerfing to keep one part of community satisfied. 70% of "balance" changes are being reversed after few months...

Is this group still active?

I've been out of the game for a long long time, but I'd like to find a smoke jaguar based group to play or at least chat with.

It most definitely is Cors! We're presently resting our CW muscles until Turkayid, but we're plenty active otherwise & a few of us are up for CW every now & then. I don't think I've managed to login & not find someone to link up with.

If you're interested, hop on to the Strana Mechty Teamspeak (you'll find our channels near the bottom) & play a few rounds with us, best way to figure out if it's a good match for you. But, as I've said before, I couldn't be happier with the reception I've had, they're a great bunch, a lot of fun & very tactically savvy when we get into things.

Oh, & when I behave myself they've managed to turn me into an occasional useful player. So, win win! :D

We're alive and kicking!
Hop on coms anytime; as my brethren mentioned, you can find us on Strana Mechty for TS3 coms.
We've got players from all over the globe so timezones shouldn't be a big issue.

Fight hard, die well!
