because its a unique mech. As in you can never buy it again. Its like the invasion variants of the Clan mechs, they are hard wired to the mechbay so you don't accidentally sell them. You have to ask support to delete it from your account for you.

Because it's a gift unique variant geometry hero mech. Those are never sellable. You didn't lose a mechbay, you got one with it. So, PGI isn't letting you sell your completely free gift. *shrug* Just the way it is. If you want C-Bills, strip it and sell the parts.
