Anyone heard anything yet? Rumors and discussion here.

I for one would enjoy a Halloween style challenge where we pull something out of the Horn o'Plenty, but no tricks. No more solo/group only challenges since folks may or may not be around, and no leaderboard 'I can't leave my computer this weekend, sry' tourney.

Black Friday crazyness sale would be cool too. C-Bill mech sale, MC on sale (only happens 1-2 times a year). Hero Sale? Haven't had one of those in a while.

Black friday Doorbuster event? Prizes are great early and start getting cleared out as the day wears on?

What are your thoughts? What would you like to see?

Games play as usual...but mechs shut automatically down every 30 seconds for a 'turkey-coma nap.'

"looks like someone spilt the mashed potatos again" event.

Mechs periodically shut down due to mashed potatos in the circuits.
Win 30 matches and get a turkey that falls down between the seats when you get shot.

It will probably be Boycott Challenge as far as I'm concerned. Hated the last one, hated most of the challenge in fact. Why? Challenges have special rules, people want the shinny bobble and change the way they play: they game the system. Normal play becomes a mess.

It's all fun and games until you introduce a reward.

Which is ironic...since if everyone played like normal they'd be done faster...but when some people start playing timidly, everyone else reacts and it often snowballs.

I hope it is some sort of turkey hunt. Solo kill x number of Ravens or Warhawks.

one mech in each game has a random chance of turning into a turkey and everyone on both teams has to hunt them down while fighting eachother

Just guessing but:

Thanksgiving colors sale (colors of Fall half off)
All champion mechs 50% off
x2 GXP conversion weekend

The MC sale usually happens either the last weekend of Nov or the First weekend in Dec.

Yeah but that is a sale not a challenge.

Pgi's largest Player Base is American.... it would not do them well to ignore it completely though.

Kinda hope they do ignore us, honestly. Thanksgiving? Put away the computer. Go see family.

This is easy.

The challenge will determine whether Paul is forced required to consume 20 pounds of Turducken.

It'll be glorious.

May be just the sales.

Some of us may have wife dragging us around for Black Friday or travel for a Family dinner.

Definitely not the weekend for a challenge. Or maybe a Turkey Gobble warhorn?

What could it sound like,

Kind of like the Shadow Hawk/Doomcrow sale? The more player wins, the more Turducken he needs to scarf down...

I'm guessing it will be a kill a Dev challenge but they will all take the weekend off to spend with their families.
