Simple suggestion to "Balance" the customization of Omni VS IS battlemechs,

Clan Pilots bring 4 Chassis, and can pick from any valid load-out on any omni mech of that same chassis to represent the Hot Swap or quick swapping abilities of the Omni system.

Also depending on the time frame of the matches, they could swap out load outs during the match, but in lore this can take upwards of an hour iirc. So that one I am not so sure of.

And IS Mechs cannot be customized at all until the bring there own Omi Mechs.

I suggest when someone changes a loadout on an IS mech the mech isn`t available for 24 hours to compete a match.
U can test your loadout in the Proving grounds but not in a real match.

My suggestion would be to have the load outs fixed, but you can swap out pre-loaded omnipods between drops in a match. So, I can bring a Warhawk, but depending on what is needed, swap out my laser-heavy omnipods for missile-heavy ones.

Omni mechs should definately have a bonus to switching load outs somewhere in the game. Not sure where but thats supposed to be part of their main thing, versatility, rather than what we have seen in previous mechwarriors which is OPness. :)

I have had a couple people mention that this would not be very feasible, since different omnipods would have different weights/crits. (which is a good point)

All that would be needed is to require a full set of pods to swap. Meaning, you would have multiple full sets, pre-loaded with equipment, and then just choose which configuration to use.

Eh. This would really detract from the point of owning multiple chassi of the omni mechs, let alone an IS mech variant. (I didn't find that out for the longest time, to be honest - you can actually have multiple mechs that are the exact same chassis, like the Catapult C1.)
