This forum is about the most peaceful prelaunch forum I have been a part of, trust me, the more info the more problems. You can not hope to please all the gamers out there.

At this point the NDA is more of a hindrance to the initial success of this game than a help in controlling rampant over-expectation - let loose the dogs, drop some gameplay videos, give us the 911 on mech stats.

Besides, I want a lot of people to play this game - killing the same scrubs over and over and pounding them into the dirt won't be as satisfying otherwise.

it feels strange that NDA is still in effect till the founders offer expires, even though i have trust in the devs it feels a little "shady" to expect a rather large money commitement for a f2p title without giving your customers the ability to make an informed decission.
if you could buy the founders a week or two after open beta start i wouldn't even consider asking for a NDA lift, cause in that case, a little more patience is all that is needed to gather info and decide on buying founders or not, without the pressure of a limited offer under NDA.
i am not here to tell the devs how to make things better from a marketing standpoint, but in my opinion getting rid of the NDA would increase trust in the product and could very well increase income from additional founder sales.
being straightforward and fair is the best approach to build a solid fanbase for a lasting and successful game.
in this case, that translates into "show them what they are paying for"! that is my humble opinion, for what it's worth

An NDA is a contract which protects intellectual copyright, which They own and you do not.
Go on, tell me more about how someone else should protect their hard work.

Let me guess, you all want to take advantage of getting bang for your buck without any risk whatsoever? Sorry, but not gonna happen. The reason why these founder packages are a nice deal is exactly because of this risk. Keep trying though, I bet you can accomplish what the previous 100 topics about this subject couldn't.

Viewing the game before this by the mass can lead to opinions being developed that are highly judgmental and unnecessary and can be detrimental to the gaming communities view of it before the game even has a chance.
So I believe it should stay. It keeps the hype.

The NDA serves a purpose, the game isn't ready for public viewing yet. Many of the same people that are creating the countless threads on how they should let people who pay into the beta right now or get rid of the NDA, ect, are the same people that would be creating threads about how the game is broken and will be a complete failure when they see a bug in the closed beta.

P.S. 411 is for information, 911 is for emergency
