It's working now. I just converted 200k xp to gxp from mechs I no longer own/mastered. Yay!

Well by the sound of it, this whole weekend is starting off rather botched.
People having problems with this and that, early purchases that do not qualify for the bonus, things needing to be fixed...
Feels like a train wreck.

Since you do not actually own anything in MWO, you will be violating the TOS is you sell, or even give away your account, so just let it idle until you feel like coming back.

Hey I was only offering the MC, I'll still play just won't be spending money on anything. Its a shame really I'm not opposed to buying things but there has to be some value and assurance in the things I buy with real money.

I have 1000s of MC on my account, in game currency paid with real money. What do I want to buy? King Crab perhaps... Can I buy it with the in-game currency? No I can't. Would it be sold at a sensible price? No probably not judging by past experience. Is the mech chassis at risk of being screwed over by some game mechanic at anytime? Yes it is, which wouldn't be so bad if it either didn't cost that much to begin with or you had some recourse.

I'm not saying MWO is a crap game, I'm saying if you want me and players like me to spend more money you need to treat players as customers and consumers not addicts. MC is a terrible deal as it stands even at 50% off because you are so constrained by what you can buy with no assurance on what you receive. What irks me is that the 'Black Friday Deal' is being presented as a great opportunity when the truth to 99% of players is actually mutton dressed as lamb.

One of these days (and some day soon I'll wager) consumer law will catch up with virtual currency.

I got the 180 days. I have 3 more months coming with the Resistance pack and I wanted to keep some MC for heroes, camo and mechbays to last me for 2015.

Taking into account the MC sale and the premium sale...

360 days is $3.33/month
180 days is $3.75/month
