I left the game shortly after the first rumblings of a Clan Wave 2.
My main gripe was that PGI seemingly only cared about using their crowd-fund money for the R&D of clan mechs, then took the money from clan mechs to fund another drive of clan mechs, then used THAT money to fund an anti-clan mech IS line of mechs.
My rambling point is that PGI didnt seem interested in expanding the scope/depth of the game at all, and that printing out mechs like pokemon cards was their only real effort at adding to the game.
Has this changed? Is the game no longer just arena bash? Or should I check back in a few months again?

What exactly are you looking for? PVE? Maybe in 2016...

Check out Inner Sphere mech quirks. Quite a bit has changed. So if you're for the House factions, you should be pleased. If you're for Clans... well nothing new to report.
