Hello.

Please help me with a problem. When you try to log into the game from the launcher, I get the following error:

Despite the fact that the site server status online.

Also, my friend from out of town can come into play. And my friend sitting at the next computer also can go.

What could be the problem? I reinstall the client again. He breaks down over time. Sometimes, by the way, takes off during the game.

Thanks for reading.

Might be an issue with your ISP. Are you able to run a traceRT to mwomercs.com or to 192.99.109.192?

Drill down to the MWO folder, right click, properties, uncheck Read Only attributes.

Then run the Repair Toolkit.

When was the last time you did a chkdsk of your drive?
Do you have your antivirus/internet security program setup to exclude your gaming directories?

I do not have anti-virus and firewall disabled.
Moreover, still yesterday everything worked and I didn't take any actions for change of the computer or game.
Problems with provider can't be, from other computer in the house I can come into game.

Does the computer in question has internet access, and can you login to the MWO forums on that PC?

crazy idea but do you have the public test version of the patcher installed and could you be trying to load that?

you mention not having antivirus and firewall disabled, do you mean they are not active. if they are active (not disabled) can you try disabling the firewall for a few minutes to try to load the client and does that make any difference?

Different computers on the same network could still have different DNS settings. If you know what a DNS is, try adjusting the DNS setting in the computer that isn't working.

But, you probably want to do a full uninstall, run a program Ccleaner, and start from scratch.

Laugh all you want, but that was what screwed me for like 15 minutes.

I had both installed and forgot to add a deskop icon for the real server.
The test server on the other hand had a desktop icon.

It was about the last thing I checked. Shame on me, I know.

That is exactly why I don't fool with test clients etc once a game goes live. I cuss enough as it is....
