Removing buddy data and requiring NARC or TAG to provide target data for indirect does not remove scouting from the game. It does require them to carry NARC or TAG equipment. You know. Scout equipment. Imagine that.

Getting back on track to the OP, the AoA is a tad high still (though nowhere near as bad as it used to be). But that isn't the primary problem. But since this thread is only about AoA I will withhold other opinions on the subject.

Or a variation....Buddy Data I'm fine with, seeing the dorito on the minimap. But buddy targeting should either require NARC, TAG or C3 to do at all, or if kept, reduce the accuracy of the missiles even further, possibly..

I agree

Perhaps indirect target acquisition needs to be looked at some
I also agree the angle of attack needs to be lowered just a bit for them
As well as the speed for LRMs increased maybe adding line-of-sight bonuses as well

This coming from someone who uses Lrms systems and enjoys using them
I think lowering the AOA and increasing the speed as well as Los bonuses would work
All together will help make spamming harder and increase effectiveness for competitive play

Hello Mechwarriors,

I've reviewed more than a few reports about this thread and for now I've decided NOT to lock it down or do any over moderation.

However, I feel the need to step in and remind EVERYONE that if you are going to respond to a post that you should keep to the facts/topic at hand and should not reference another user in any way. You are always allowed to have different opinions, you can disagree with a player.. you should not be making any kind of comments about them. 'You're new', 'you're [redacted]' If you disagree with the topic suggestion, provide constructive input on why you disagree.. if you cannot, then simply refrain from posting.

I see a lot of users in here posting constructively and thats why I'm not going to close this down.. a lot of users understand how to post, and how to be polite to everyone here. We are a community. We are the sum of our parts, and everytime we take shots at someone here instead of in game it spoils it a little more for everyone else.

Please continue to report any personal attacks being made, or violations of the ToS.

Thank you.

John Wolf
