downtime is estimated to be about 1 hour.
Thanks for the ETA and Downtime Info might want to add that to the Main post (since thats what most people will see, more-so than the forums posting.
Also hope the Hellbringer was tested more than the TimberWolf was so you dont come along and take a nerf bat to it AFTER it becomes available for C-Bills. Come on PGI! You know you have us mechjunkies that would gladly go onto the PTS (or those Lucky Enough to have Not-so-Secret Squirrel Access. [I can neither Confirm nor Deny the existence of the Squirrel Test Bed, even though Im not in it {Which in itself is a Tragedy almost on Par with the Tragedy known as the Saga of Elric of Melnibone, seeing as how I've been in every closed beta test of a MechWarrior Game since MechWarrior 3, where I had to fax a notorized NDA to the Developers, and being currently unemployed I could dedicate alot of time to try to break things, which is ultimately what Beta testing is for}]) to test the livin' bejebus out of so things can be adjusted (read as Nerfed) BEFORE they are released. I can only imagine the frustration and disappointment for those who paid Dollars (and MC which really is just the same) for the Mech only to have a Balistic slot for a MG (which again, is intended for Infantry and Soft Targets not Hardened Targets like mechs so they shouldnt have any special crit bonuses once internal structure is exposed. If you want people to have MG's on their mech as a truely viable reason to have it put in Infantry with Inferno rockets. As for LBX crits, Yes! because if I recall correctly LBX in the Scatter round configuration its ammo is now would be Flechettes made specifically to penetrate Mech Armor and damage internal structure.) when it used to hold the AC2 family of weapons. Its no wonder so many people think that PGI doesnt care. (I think they do care but are just overwhelmed due to having so much to accomplish with CW and providing new content that things arent being tested as thoroughly as they would be if they were put on the PTS (Or Squirrel) server for at least a month before release (How long was the TW released before the Hard Fixed JJ thing was put into being? (which really if you think about it is quite dumb since omni pods are so modular there would be a Pod that accomodated the AC2 family without JJ's, or to keep with the superior tech the clans have due to not losing it the IS mechs with JJ's have them fixed because they DONT have Omni ability [Come on how many of you who played TT didnt make adjustments to your mech by adding jump jets or ecm or putting heat sinks in the legs instead of torso so you could us the water cooling bonus? And Omni pods allowed you to make those changes FASTER so that there was less down time because of it.]) Thats like Ford selling you a car and then Ford coming along and locking the radio station to reports on Pork Bellies and saying ;If you dont like it dont turn the radio on.
