Checking my cc billing i found a 1 dollar charge from mwo. i called the cc company they said it was a dollar charge from an internation currency exchange.

When you buy MC the money goes to Cameron West Africa.

Are you sure about that? I have seen no such charge attatched to my own transactions with PGI

That sounds iffy -- are you sure that's a charge from MWO. I've only used Paypal so I can't say...

Question is, where are you and what currency do you use?

It could be possible that your currency wasn't compatible or acceptable...

It could be possible that it was a currency exchange to Canadian Dollars (a change to West Africa doesn't make much sense).

But yeah, I've never had currency exchanges occur. Then again I live in the US, and Canada loves US dollars.

Or, PGI is a Canadian company, and if you don't live in Canada, there is an exchange rate difference between your native currency, and Canadian Beercaps (or, whatever it is they use) :P

It may not be a fee charged by all banks to perform the conversion for you.. I guess some banks may do currency conversion for free, others (like mine) charge a minimal fee.

The currency conversion would make sense if you did a CC transaction and your CC isn't in dollars... but why it'd be from Cameroon is anyone's guess.
