This is a setup I made specifically for CW, snipertastic with speed to both avoid brawling and readjust position quickly to another gate.

Why it works: Heat reduction quirks for lasers make heat manageable even when alphaing 3 ERLLas, and the ballistic reload quirk makes your gauss rapid fire with reload module. I have gone matches with 1000+ damage and not died using just this setup in both defense/offense.

This setup CAN work on the K as well, but without laser heat quirks it becomes hotter much faster. If using the K, take advantage of the laser range quirks and use regular LLas instead of ER.

Wow, this is a clean and interesting setup. As a fan of 3x ERLL Blackjack snipers, I'm surprised it's never occurred to me that you can do that with an Orion, adding in a Gauss for even more sniper fun. I'll definitely try this out when I finally get around to dropping in CW. Thanks for sharing!

Honestly, the quirks are so good on this mech. You almost have to run the LBX- 10 with SRMs
