Just A Few Hours Ago..battle Starts, My Mech Is Running Backwards

I kid you not......... just an hour or two ago.
Almost TWO years here, and its never happened before.
battle starts, and I'm hauling arse backwards!
I have to hit "forward" key once or twice before it stops.
I have: remapped throttle keys, saved, then remapped them back to what I want.
I have unticked the cruise control (or whatever its called) and reticked it the way I want.

Still......game starts and its not that dawg, its that crawdad....scooting advancing rearwards!$@#*&!@@#

thoughts?
I can live with it, like the assume command bug, but would rather iron it out

Have you recently plugged in a joystick or controller that you don't normally have? That can cause things like reversing or turning uncontrollably.

You sir, are a genius.
Yes, mysteriously.........the problem started after putting in a joy stick in port on the front of the case as it seemed easier than running around the back.

Happy to help :) Unfortunately this game can get a bit touchy with peripherals and things, which is a bit of a pity.
