So, it's something to do when you have enough c-bills and want to earn loyalty points instead.

Then you suddenly realize that MWO's entire profit stems from pokemon.
(And the game is pokemon currently)

Russ was saying on Twitter that if you used a Hero mech, you would get the 30% Cbill boost for that life, so I imagine we'll get some rewards.
It will just be faster to play the ~8 minute PUG matches than the half hour CW matches. Faster grind, as I understand it.

New players need to earn their stripes before they get to eat with the Tigers!

you are required to have 4 mechs and fit within 140-240 tons. There is no other restrictions and you can bring trials so its not going to be locked from newbs.

You earn in cw but you don't earn as much. Pubs are your money maker. Russ discussed that in 1st townhall

*Sadface* It will make for a lousy new player experience... Just saying...
Wish PGI would consider things like this with a bit of greed. Abusing new players in CW will be fun, but soon we will run out of new players and that, I think, is bad for us and PGI.

or they can just stay in the pug world. just have to make it clear CW is hardcore and shouldn't be attempted by new players. yea some people are going to be stupid, but not having CW hasn't stopped stupid people before.

That was russ' statement in the townhall almost word for word.
It's not for the feint of heart. It's going to be "hard"
