Hellbringer Hotfix

Patch is now live.

The Hellbringer hit boxes have been corrected. There is one known issue where there isn't some collision on one part of the arms on the Invasion version which will need to wait for Dec 16th but that will only benefit play not hamper it.

I also moved the LT and RT up a little further on the nose. I believe it will prove formidable now but look forward to your feedback.

I hope to put up my December road map tomorrow.

Thanks brah. I'll be testing my own Loki in about half an hour or so and will report back here.

woo! shoulders aren't CT anymore? Nose got the Dragon treatment? Wooo!

although now I have to armor my side torsoes again.

Edit: First match. Dropped three 'mechs in single combat. Only died because I felt invulnerable and stepped into close combat with four enemies (I didn't know about two of them, in my defense).

What kind of monster hast thou created?

Did you indeed find that the hitboxes were like this, before you fixed them?

can we take a look at the Mist Lynx? Honestly i believe there are some borked hitboxes in it as well, I take hits to my front and they go to my Rear CT, I can confirm this happening 4 different times, and suspect many more

Informal test. 1st match with the patch. The smellbringer is back baby! I almost didn't lose my CT armor despite many shots hitting me in the front. Torso twisting seems to work!

Also, 22,444 XP is probably as much as I will ever earn in a match, ever. I'll cherish it while it last.

No they weren't - Obviously were not that blind :) but there was some funky errors that were hard to figure out and far to long to go into - we got it fixed but were still investigating why it happened.

my Prime HB had about 94 percent armor, I shot from a centurion  cored be, and a hit from a med laser afaik  killed the mech, this is my first time using the HB but it seemed to get destroyed way to easy! back to my Spider...

Did shots clip though the back armor to the front? Those rear shots were reproducible, and the arm "pauldrons" were 100% causing CT damage. Either way, the quick fix is great and hugely appreciated!

I was hoping you would provide a Monday hotfix for the HBR but not expecting it so thanks for your efforts to fix the errors.

Just about to try it out now :)

It could be neat to see how the fixed hitboxes look now, using the same method used to get the pictures from GreenJulius' thread...if I had any, I'd volunteer to do training rooms and stuff, but alas! I don't. lol

Geez Russ, you guys are making the way leading up to Dec. 16th wonderful. Gonna get CW & a KC for my b-day....what else are you going to add to the road map and you fixes :)

For my first match, I actually lost a side torso and got my other one fairly well damaged before my CT went out. The Hellbringer is no longer the Corebringer.
