Did PGI run Christmas special last year? If so do you remember what it was and are they likely to do it again this year? Just trying to plan some things ahead of time.

I think it was a sale on red green and white paint some striped and such camos and x-mas and new year themed cockpit items such as the dapper urbie and commandoelf and saint nickAtlas, a wreath and x-mas lights.

But i might be wrong.

Vague memories of holographic cockpit item with the year(in MWO) as well as Christmas lights and such. Not sure what else.

last year was just boring themed cockpit item sales, but last year was also before they started doing lots of challenge and event type stuff, so this year I'd expect various challenges or events a la the halloween one in addition to seasonal cockpit items.

Hopefully good events instead of painful things that promote toxic gameplay behaviour.

They had the Pimp my Mech contest last year... Create your own Cockpit item

My Entry was deleted by the mods...... it was a "Toilet" Standing item (because thats where the game was heading,blah blah blah)..

I still love to play this game..... just want it to succeed and do better than it is currently. Russ has made some good decisions lately

All summed up in other comments. It's basically going to be an event with a cockpit item fitting that season to earn (crossing my fingers for another halloween-like event though). Only thing missing in posts above is that they also gave out the code "happy holidays" to everyone to redeem for 2 weeks of premium time.

I didn't get a chance to come visit this Thanksgiving. I'll be at my parents for Christmas for 4 days, I'll bring you by a snowglobe.

Pgi promised a Snow Globe last year and then gave away Xmas Trees instead...

Very funny about the Snow Globe comment..

If they do a similar Halloween Event that would be awesome.. although it should be a week... no more weekend thing... some of us have to work on the weekends or holidays
