Why, oh why are they releasing the KGC on the same day as the Gargoyle? Nott only do I get both, but the assault queue is going to be slammed.

Not true, they will work on every clan mech, if not every mech (though that would be really weird.) One of the more recent tournaments had a screenshot of a Timberwolf in Smoke Jaguar's camo.

- FRR... ugliest set of colours conceived by man. Probably the result of some horrible {Godwin's Law} experiment.
so change the colors

Clan wave 2 "Contains faction patterns only for preordered mechs" meaning my Timberwolf la carte, Kit fox, Adder, and Stormcrow and any other mech besides the Koshi collection I purchased I don't get to apply the pattern too. Unless the La carte counts since I got it before the T-wolf was released for c-bills but I think thats a long shot. Still amazed it counted as a package purchase for the Atlas they gave away.

As others are saying, the model all but seems to prove that the arms will have 2 ballistic hardpoints a piece.
Hello 4xUAC5/4xAC5. Or for the ultimate ****-storm, 2xLB10x, 2xAC5, 1 of each in the arms. This thing is gonna kick ass and take names.

Cannot. Wait.
Chair-bouncing for the Lyran Guard paint (at last!). I hope it's a universal application! 15th Arcturan Guard (ala. Zeus) would have been more than acceptable as well.
Some nice surprises elsewhere, also: Davion Crucis March Militia (very nice), Liao Warrior House (Hiritsu, maybe?), FRR 2nd Kavalleri (best-looking of the lot, but I'm biased towards dark colours), Kurita Ghost Regiment (an odd choice for a House paint, but appropriate for "resistance", I guess), and I'm guessing Marik Free Worlds Legionnaires (appropriately ghastly for FWL, but I'm biased )

My personal build will retain an ERLL or LL or longer matches, and go with a STD340 and 11 tons of ammo so it can still run 60.6kph. Maybe 2xML or 2xMPL if there is hardpoint inflation, which would allow for even more ammo.

I cannot wait for this flippin' mech!

Appears that at least one will have quad ballistic hardpoints.
Kurita Paintjob WAY too busy. Laio and Rasalhague look like with better colors, will look pretty sweet.
Hope it gets armour quirks for those arms. Looks great though.

We are not going to be able to put these paints on that one.

I doubt they'd show us a King Crab with each of the faction colors unless we can put them on it. After all, the faction patterns are only available for the preorder mechs, so why would they show us a King Crab with them on it?
Read the descriptions for each pack: "Faction Camo Spec for included mechs."
100%, the King Crab we are getting can be customized with those colors. It may actually be the ONLY King Crab we can customize with the faction camo at that.
Unless I'm not understanding correctly how the Faction Packs work, they can only be applied to the mechs you receive in the packs.

What if they bought a clan package, does that mean the KC comes with a Clan skin? or would they just have to pick an IS one?

That is a really good question. I'm assuming it comes with a skin, but can be swapped with the faction ones if you own them. I bet the default skin is the green concept we've been shown constantly, with the "shark face."
PGI crew, could we get clarification on this?

Part of the point of the ® pack was to give people a chance at the "Thank you" reward mechs that otherwise would not have had a chance (IE: the inner sphere purists)
So THAT one - I really doubt will.
If that one comes with two other King Crab variants for mastery purposes?
Those would.
I could even see them giving us the paints for King Crabs in general without doing that, as the camo rewards have, so far, been the full perma-unlock for that chassis: IE: all variants you own now, or ever will
But as the King Crab special variant is technically not part of the ® pack - but a thank you for having bought a top tier of any pack?
I do not think so.
(could be wrong though - and clarification from the devs would rock)

I pick Clan Ghost Bear faction content, I can put that pattern on my IS and any Clan mechs I own. Don't restrict it only to the package mechs we got, because some of them aren't very good.
