Great tutorial, thanks!
One suggestion I have is to open with the patch level or date the video was made so if folks come across the video in an embedded form down the road they can tell what vintage the information is.
I was scribbling down notes and scratching them out as you covered most everything. But there were a couple things that I missed.
First, the reticle turns red when you damage your target. I find that handy when using LRMs indirectly as I can see if I am actually connecting.
Second, the speed bar to the right of the minimap actually has two bars. The yellow bar is your actual speed, but there is a green bar that is your throttle setting. On light mechs they usually match but on heavier mechs there is a delay as you accelerate to the throttle setting. It's also useful in determining if you are throttled down or stuck--that's handy as you might have moved into a piece of terrain and been stopped but when you need to reverse out you don't want to throttle from full forward to full reverse as that can take time.
Anyway, thank you for taking the time to do this video.
[edit] Oh, and this is probably a better fit for the Guides forum--a mod should be able to move it if you agree. [/edit]

Thanks for the advice.
This video is high level overview of the hud. There is a TON of stuff going on and I just want to touch on the most important stuff without making the video painfully long. I do plan on doing a targeting/fighting type and I will make sure to note the reticle flash there and a moving your mech type and will go into further detail on the one/two bars, throttle settings, and such. I believe those subjects really do require their own videos. I again thanks for pointing those out. It's easy to miss those as I'm so used to that input that I take it for granted.
I place my tutorials in new player section because they are really aimed at the new players as there aren't a in game tutorials and this is the section where the sticky for tutorials is located.
I don't include patch level stuff as I make a new video if a patch changes something within a day or two. I then remove the old video from any playlist and edit anything I've embedded here to point to the new video. I also place an link to the new video at the start of the old video and change the title and description of old one in case someone else is using it.
Thanks for the feedback and have great luck on the battlefield.

Spike Brave - I've been playing MWO for over three months now, and you are still teaching me things. I learned a lot from that vid, things that I never really noticed (maybe because I'm to busy trying to stay alive... lol). Thanks, great tutorial as they all are.
