I have recreated the shots to the back that still register to front CT but need some to verify it. Had it happen with SRMs and Clan UACs. A buddy shot me in the back using various weapons and those were the only two weapons we had it happen. Neither of us have video capture so can some one test it also to verify.
SRMs did not register each time. Appeared to be random and from any range.
Clan UAC did not register each time and was very random. Mostly from longer ranges of 300 or more.

There's still the box on the left shoulder that counts as front torso all the way around, and as usual if you hit just right in the crotch at the bottom where the rear melds into the front it will happen.
It is more than playable, they did a pretty good job and even touched up the protruding part of the center torso. Hopefully the left shoulder gets addressed in the future though it is not as bad as the Hunchback, though I believe in that case it was intentional.

Good luck getting something like this fixed by PGI. Ravens have had similar issues (for example, it is entirely possible to shoot one in the back when the front torso is facing you by hitting the turntable of the mech and you can shoot thin air and damage the legs).
PHI has, thus far, been unwilling or unable to address hotbox issues outside of nerfs.

Do you happen to have a paper doll visual of what you have described identifying the areas of concern? Thanks, not disagreeing, just want to understand the issue from a visual perspective.
Thanks

No this was an ad hoc test. And I have no more premium time.

So why did PGI not bother to finally fix the borked hitboxes on the Timber Wolf that massively add to it's surviveability especially against rear shots for all these months
