The fun part is that the Cat had no weapons either, and was probably trying to do the same thing the OP was doing.

Me, my YLW collided with a friendly Centurion on Crimson and killed it through collision damage once.

Did a sumo kill in a jager once- ran towards a firestarter, shot his leg off, he wasnt able to evade. Face-to-to-face impact, his red torso became empty.

I have never taken anyone out by ramming them, but since I started piloting the Mist Lynx and getting disarmed (literally) I have noticed that it's well worth running around and bumping into enemies just to get extra assists at the end of the match!

For some strange reason I've noticed in my Stalkers all the weapons tend to blown off first.
Especially the 3F which I've renamed "Walking Stick".
Had'nt killed anyone one, but unless I get a direct CT hit it's good for ramming and pinning other mechs.
I've survived many a match with only 8% health left.

lol, and I wouldn't blame the pilot one bit. I wasn't seeking the mech out, I just lost all my offensive capability and needed to find some cover before I became someone's kill. When I came up the ramp and saw em I didn't even have enough time to see what was damaged on the mech when I targeted em and made the snap decision to become a speedbump in hopes I could distract and take a few shots instead of my teammates. So I just veered into em, and was shocked at the result.

Hopefully I earned a mention in the Remembrance for my efforts!

I've gotten a few ramming kills, and I'm pretty sure I've been TKed by getting run over while in a legged light.

Once I was rendered weaponless in my kitfox and I stalked behind an enemy kit fox that was sniping until I killed it. Poor mechwarrior was a newbie I supose because I was there at his back for like 2 minutes and he didn't notice until I leged him.
But I don't think contact damage reflects on the impact direction HUD .
