I belive that idea was disscussed into devs collective, and possible was posted here some day before. Idea is simple - why ac20 hit will allways have same impulse? Locust and atlas should not feel same when got hit by ac20.

Each chassis should have ther own "impulse" as well as weapons.

i think the word you wanted was 'impact' - you mean when your Locust gets hit by an AC20 you should feel like you almost get knocked over, while if your Atlas gets hit it should feel like a minor earthquake or similar


it would be interesting, but at best it would be at the bottom of the dev's list of things that 'would be nice to add much later'

I disagree, Flanker-- this is a necessary balancing factor in how mechs and their pilots react to damage, and should be, at the very least, conceptualized no later than shortly after CW.
