If not why I purchased another pack that offered it?
Can some one help explain what will happen?

I HOPE you get two!
I haven't grabbed the new pack (yet) but I am hoping for two sets of "root" beer mugs.

Though lets be honest... I'm kinda irked that it's the same rewards.
Oh well. On a side note... I'm probably sitting on lots of cockpit decorations that I haven't used yet.

(looks for the fine print)
Odd, it didn't say the stein was an in-cockpit item.

Why TF do i have a hula girl (that's not simulated according to physics and ingame actions properly?).

Because contrary to anything PGI claims, this is a video game and not a simulation. And its simply a series of animations to how fast or slow you're moving.
As for why do you have a hula girl? >.> To look at her.

I'd rather have a physically appropriate hula girl than a physically attractive but unbelievable hula girl. That being said, you just described and acknowledged the dev's easy way out.

It's unfortunately been true since they ran into their first problems.

Always finding an easy way out. No matter how convoluted or unintuitive.

Haha, as much as I'd want to like this post, as wrong the implication would be...

Unfortunately, the devs have chosen a way many times that may be the wrong (or at least not really right) way, but not the easy way out way. They still get beef for ghost heat - which was a somewhat sensible decision IMHO, albeit hopefully incoming adjustments. They get beef for a viewmode no one uses. They get beef for letting PPL choose their favourite gamemodes, they get beef for not letting them choose, too. They get beef for pushing new maps, they get beef for having them appear equal to old maps, They get beef for the quirkening, they get beef if they if they let clans be OP. They get beef for quirking IS while not quirking clans. They get beef for buffing medium mechs, they get beef for not buffing lights.
Honestly, I don't want to be in PGI's place. With such a playerbase, you can do nothing right - which is a somewhat understandable reaction (as history tells us), but also there happens to be so much unnecessary QQ it's not fun anymore. And according to several polls, it doesn't matter what they do, they'll upset a significant portion on the playerbase. Good luck PGI!

"We won't admit the core problem is something we done (like excessive thresholds), so we'll spend 50,000 dollars to put a bandaid (ghost heat) on it." o.o;
Then they adjust ghost heat when it proves insufficient.

We should be getting 2 of everything afaik if you also buy the Resistance pack.
I wish/hope the Resistance coffee mug bonuses are just placeholders, I already have 4 coffee mugs and don't need another 8 :/
If PGI has done anything lazy, it's been all of these coffee mug items xD
P.S. PGI has done a lot of good things to help the game, what their problem has been is the way that they've decided to go about explaining thier choices. They have always been bad at PR and ok-to-terrible at explaining how decision A will help make MWO more fun/balanced when the forums are crying out for them to make change B.
Ghost Heat was necessary yet nonetheless heavy-handed in its' implementation. While noone *likes* Ghost Heat, everyone hates 60+ point alphas and an anti-brawl meta even more. The 4PPC Stalker was downright lame, almost as lame as the LRM-heavy meta used to be.
