Not exactly pretty...but at least has 8 hardpoints. Summoner level pod space, without the JJs.
Lazors will be key to this inferior to the 75 tonner mech. Only boon is the fact it can be taken in conjunction with it in PUGs, to allow for a fast as heck laser deathstar team.
It can boat more Pulse Lasers than the Timby, so I guess it has that going for it.

Yep, that makes me sad. 20 is adequate, or 28 with ERMLs.
6 ERMLs LPL seems the least bad choice, though perhaps an ERLL and 26 DHS instead. Which is what the Loki has, with a Jesus Box.
Maybe we'll get lucky, and that 6E arm will be included, for 12 possible E hardpoints. Small lazors run cool enough, at half ERML heat.

PLZ Pgi, make him look so amazing I will cry every time he is shot... and then I want to come and whine to you on the forums about whatever killed me and tell you to nUrf it... then my life will be complete.

"You just have to use it right" is the eternal mating call of the scrub.
The opposite would be more accurate.

Couldn't agree more DONTOR, if one cannot see the possibilities of this unit, or any other, they may need some lessons in strategic level thinking or "outside-the-box" thinking...
I look at this thing, and I see a "death squad" consiting of the fallowing:
Gargoyle
Gargoyle
Hellbringer
Gargoyle
Timber Wolf
Hellbringer
Storm Crow
Storm Crow
Storm Crow
Kit Fox
Adder
Kit Fox
Everything in that drop list is 3/3/3/3, operates under ECM coverage, and moves are more or less the same speed, making for a fantastically mobile force.

There's just far too much rush potential for it not to be good when pushing with a Timber or SCR, etc. Even if it can't hold as much as a Dire Wolf, it's a 90kph 80ton assault mech. What it may "lack" in firepower, it has armor and speed. There has to be a trade-off and that's what I think people don't consider. It's going to be brutal and you're not going to get away from it that easily.

After all, it might help sell a few more packs before the initial release, right? Even if the appearance winds up being the only good thing about it. Oh well, it can't make me worse than I already was!
Also- King Crab and Gargoyle released on the same day- can you say 91% assault queue?
