What do you guys think of the new faction warhorn for Jade Falcon?

Here's the Jade Falcon intro from Mechwarrior 2 for comparision -

I understand they had to differentiate the Wolf warhorn from the others but i prefere the MW2 one.. Same for the Jade Falcon one. It would have been totally awesome if they could have used those same sounds..

both the Jade Falcon and Wolf intro sounds from mw2 are far far better, i like you falcon horn better then wolf one even at that. really wish they would not try and reinvent the wheel on some things.

I am not quite sure they can just cut and past the MW2 sounds for legal reasons, but they could just follow those lines..

It is what they did for our emblems too.. They tried to re-invent them and failed horribly..

Btw.. Compare the Gost Bear warhorn with the roar from the GBL intro. They have very little in common

The sounds in MW2 is a lot better which is sorta bad given that it's a 1995 computer game, the MWO version doesn't strike any psychological fear like a good psyops horn should. But i'll take it for the LULZ just to hear multiple KAAAAAA's go off when their are kills

Both the Wolf and Falcon horns are terrible. Sounds like whalesong and turkey screeching. That being said, I'll use it for the same reason Grimwill gave.

Its not. Its a battlemech.

But I agree that the new warhorns sound like you're choking the totem animal not listening to it screech / howl

Yeah, unfortunately, the wolf and falcon horns just don't sound intimidating. The falcon one makes me think of seagulls and the wolf one makes me think of coyotes.
