The ugly thing about Gargoyle is that it supposed to look like bobblehead but even with oversized head it can look cool, as cool as on Alex's art. If the quality of 3D models is not important any more I might as well just go and play MW4.

Invasion unique geometry or not, none of the other mechs invasion geometries change the looks this much. The dire wolves legs, the little wings on the stormcrow/mad dog, the timber wolves rounded corners and bars on the shoulders etc, are all nice little subtle additions. But this is ridiculous lol.

Speaking of lore, after looking at the CCG art for the 'mech, the nose is actually less pronounced, or not there at all. I think the MWO concept art looks similar to the CCG art.

I still prefer the look of the 'mech in the TRO and the minis.
