So I need a 60 tonner for my drop deck. It's the difference between having 1 deck involving a Commando (which I pilot very, very poorly) and a spider (which I pilot very well).

In ages long past I leveled up Dragons. Also QDs are so bad that you could quirk them with unlimited ammo and no heat and they'd still be sub-par.

What's a good Dragon to take now though? Flame, Fang, N1, N5? With earnings so low even buying 1 Dragon is like pissing all over 10 hours of work but if I can make it dance well enough to justify itself I'll have the drop deck I want.

Which Dragons are good? What loadouts?

The 1N's dual AC5 dakka is the most used Dragon AFAIK. The issue though obviously is having the "suddenly crazily quirked" dakka arm to go off on mech that can't fight back properly.

I'd still run a Quickdraw, but for CW... lol no.

Don't overlook the 50 and 55 tonners, there are a few of them I'd take over a Dragon or Quickdraw personally. Taking 235 tons, or 230 won't kill ya.

Flame is still the best Dragon and the most versatile.

I like them all though.

I've never gotten mediums to play well. Passable hunchies, passable griffin, Shawks don't fit me at all. I'm better off in a Dragon.

Tell me more about the Flame. I don't see them very often. AC20 and 4mls? I rock the AC20 pretty well and DEM HITBOXES don't like the staredown that the dakka N1 needs.

None of them are good.

Take a shadowhawk and be done with it. It's not worth your time to try and feel like a special snowflake.

Have you tried them since the quirks were applied? I've been really liking my 4G lately for example.

I run the Flame with Gauss, 4 ML, and SRM4, XL300. You can also run it with 360XL, Gauss & 4ML for some over 100kph runs. Shoulder mount ballistic on the Flame is perfect for long range engagements.

Not about special snowflake. I suck on ice in a Shawk. Don't like them, they don't like me. If I'm going to have to learn to get good in a mech I'm bad in, may as well take the 5 tons.

Flame is good? Would be nice to have the 30% bonus.

No, all the dragons are terrible. The shadowhawk can do all the same things, but does it better.

This is like saying 'I need to learn a karate guy in street fighter. I'm gonna practice with Dan because I suck with Ryu.'

Hey now, Dan is at least good for laughs. Some of the things he says are hilarious.
