My computer broke and I needed to reinstall, now I stucked on 4,1 GB download going like 0,1 kbps and nothing is using my net -.-

been thinking about this post for a few hours now, i am really having trouble speculating why you wouldn't be able to download from the patch server at a decent speed.

im thinking something else is broke on your pc.

if your computer broke and you needed to reinstall... did you install the correct drivers for your network card?

also here is a link for someone who fixed slow downloads by changing the DNS settings in their playstation to fix the extremely slow download.

so im guessing you should do a flush dns also.

Is a Patch download time of 5hrs.53min normal? Seems slow.

Well, I wanted to play MWO again, so I am trying to install/dload it now. For now it sits at 100kb/s and lower, which is really annoying when you have a 250mb/s connection. Asked for workarounds to people, but there seem to be none. I don't really understand how devs can live with that, knowing that they lose potential players or lose existing ones with that.

I thought I would give this game a go as I am an old school mechwarrior and robotech player from back in the early 90's. Youtube vids look cool and am keen to get the download finished.

After 6 hours of downloading with a super fast NBN internet connection all I have managed to download is 385MB.......

Flushing DNS has done nothing to help.

not a great first impression for new players.
