Not gonna lie.


Stunning model. Some changes from Alex's art, but mostly functional ones for clipping, etc. Unless the CT is massive, this should be very tough, though probably not XL friendly. But just like my old concept, it should require enemy fire to peel it open, arms, then STs, then finally, CT. And a KGC with even half it's firepower is still a threat to most anything.

You realize that almost all of the KGC variants have at least 2 Missile and 1 Energy hard-point in the torsos don't you?

I think it will slim down a bit under the cockpit, but otherwise, yeah, that's pretty much my take.

I believe it's bigger issue with be ST shots from the side/rear. Those humps are pretty impossible to miss.

And taking shots on the arms, even with your guns there, is still better than on the torsos, where you lose the arms anyhow.

Looks like it has an acceptable walking animation.

EDIT: Just saw the hip-sway.. OH GOD. lol! When I meant weight transfer, wasn't talking about shakey torso on a wobbly hip.. but hey! It's an epic improvement over the constipated raisin's that are the DW, WH, and Stalker.

I really wish this game had /some/ kind of hard-collisions, and this mech makes me want it more.
Perhaps something that at least stopped you from running or rubberbanding through a mech? In MW4, if you hit a mech hard enough, there'd be a noise and sparks.. I don't see what's so hard. :[
