I was wondering if the king crab claw would open and close like the catapults launcher doors?

yes. No lower arm actuators, video shows it in action. Dunno if it uses the same hotkey, or same delay though.

Mech looks fantastic, but PGI's scaling is absolutely horrible, like their matchmaker.

85 armor, 34 structure per arm, and each arm destroyed brings the KGC no closer to death. By all means, target the arms.

the video's make it look fairly equal to clan Mech's. I'm so excited to get one of these Mech's. It's sees like it will be the IS tech equal of the Dire wolfs.

There is no delay when you fire, the claws will automatically open & close without need of player input. That being said, you can still open them using the same hotkey as before / <--being your friend.

Or do they open instantly you fire the shot?

That is a little disappointing.

Is there still a 10% damage reduction when closed, or just the static armour increase since there isn't a delay?

So there is no delay for opening and closing? How does it anticipate your shot and opens before you fire?

How is that possible? Shouldn't they work like weapon bay doors on a catapult? Otherwise, your shot would have to fire through the closed claw. If they animate open then fire, there has to be a delay.
