I think its only a tiny bit smaller than i think it should be. Its definately not like PGI's other mistakes where the mech doesn't even look like it belongs in the weight class.
Its very squat and compressed but for the most part its pretty beefy. Its wider than the dire wolf and definitely longer but its also shorter..
thought overeall it could be a bit smaller

It's one of the best scaled mechs to date. Pgi knocked it out this time.

"Height", by itself, is not the same thing as "size".

Most of the KGC's volume & mass are oriented horizontally rather than vertically, unlike the SHD, TBT, and AS7.
As such, it should be expected that the disc-shaped KGC should be somewhat shorter (vertical dimension) than the upright AS7 & the boxy Daishi, in exchange for being both substantially longer (front-to-back dimension) and wider (side-to-side dimension).

the KGC is damned powerful, but let's not tell things that simply aren't true, OK?

I reckon it's sized perfectly; it was always going to be a very squat mech.

I've piloted a lot of Mediums and quite a few Assaults...The King Crab is Nooooo Medium. It has a descent torso twist for an Assault, but that's it. It feels like an Assault to pilot.
Also, like Strum said, height is not the sole determining factor in size. Chassis width and depth plays a large part in that as well. Its front torso profile is fairly squat, but it's really wide from the side and top.
The King Crab is a "barn door", just laid flat lol.

I don't really like how far forward the arms are- it makes the mech look off-balance, but I think they nailed the size and general squatness of the chassis- especially in the legs vs. Warhawk and Dire Wolf that look quite top-heavy.
