I am thoroughly confused.
It was my understanding that:
1. If I picked the four faction skins, that I would unlock all four faction skins for all my invasion mechs. The only reason you would only pick four of the same faction pack/skin pack is so you could get 4 of the cockpit items. Since the paints are more valuable than the cockpit items, I chose to unlock all the skins - because, why not?
2. It's like the polygon ammo, but available for the primary (I) variants.
3. The faction skins would not be available for the (I) invasion wave 1 mechs right away, probably due to applying it over the 'custom geometry' of those mechs.
4. Until they retrofit the faction colors for (I) variants, we wouldn't see it on wave one 1 mechs, but stay tuned and we would.
Now, I'm worried that:
1. Each faction content unlock would apply to ONE mech, unlike polygon.
2. The pictures of the Mad Dog showed it in faction colors, which was an example of what you would get in the faction package. Now, it has been stated that the Mad Dog was a bonus mech and not beholden to the rules for other invasion mechs, even though quite obviously the Mad Dog Prime (I) is an invasion mech with custom geometry and generic clan stripes. I hope they didn't show us a picture of what we'll get and not actually give us what they advertised.
3. I do not understand why it's charging me MC for faction skins for ANY of my clan mechs, as I've unlocked all four faction skins, and they should be unlocked for ALL my clan mechs. I know that some of these MC purchases are glitches, and have not spent any MC yet, but it still makes me wonder - especially due to Russ's tweets and Alexander Garden's posts if I've just been bent over a table.

I'm going to let the storm subside before I freak out, but the signs are really concerning me. Some of what Russ has tweeted since I started writing this post seem like they're moving in the right direction, but I'm still thoroughly confused, where I was sure I understood what I bought as of this morning.
