Would House and Clan specific weapon systems be an acceptable reward for LP credits? Ideally these would only be used in CW, but could certainly be allowed into PuG matches also.

The idea is to create a bit more nuances between weapon flavors. Perhaps no major upgrades, just side-grades to stock specs...but they could provide a bonus when applied to chassises associated with the matching House or a Clan. So a Kurita PPC might have an increase in range, but a longer cycle time. But when put on a Dragon or some other Kurita chassis variant, the cycle time penalty is dropped or diminished.

Not every weapon has to have a House/Clan specific variant. Perhaps the AC2, for example, only has House specific variants for 1 or 2 Houses.

Each variant could also have slightly different visuals. Like the PPC variant for Kurita could fire a bolt with shades of pinks and reds. Their ACs could have a reddish-orange tracer, etc, etc.
