Locust PB, 1 kill, 5 v 2 up. Closing on a locked Dragon. Firing into its rear, my team members closing in fast to end it....then MWO crashes...black screen....back to my desktop. I've been playing for several months, first time its crashed

After 5 minutes, I boot up MWO and get back to mechbay and see my PB is still in play! I get back into play and find myself and ally Timberwolf against one Mist Lynx. The MLX alphas me in a split sec and nibbles the TBW to death....The messages from the chat was a lot of 'Wake up *****!'.....me: Dammit all!

How many games have you had where you thought it was all in the bag?

p.s Cats leaping onto your keyboard count :)

similar problem but I get mega lag at the worst times. like a second or two of nothing OR I get the warpywarps as the server says "you are really over here, looking this way at these angles."

sucks having crummy internet sometimes. Looks like im running around and BAM I'm like in a mech now or my torso warps to looking somewhere else or i'm facing a wall shooting at it..

Tons. I have many games in pug land where we were up 4-5 and the team decided to go into mop up mode to early. Before you know it its 8-5 and morale is crushed. Team is broken! GG no re!

Nothing beats coming back from a 4 mech disadvantage.

I think I've had every mid match distraction:

* Game crash
* Mouse bug where mouse exits out of the game
* Power outage
* Delivery man at the door
* Phone rings
* Dog desperately wants to go out
* Dog desperately wants to come in
* Cat jumps on keyboard
* Cat walks in front of the monitor
* Cat jumps on my shoulder (with claws out)
* Baby wakes up and starts crying
* Boy wakes up and needs to go to the bathroom
* Wife distracts me (the good kind of distraction)
* Kids put hamster on my shoulder

I Get disco most when piloting in adder, commando, and Atlas DDC not sure if reason or coincidence.

Almost always wake up to an exploding mech after rejoin. My disco always crash the computer to a restart. CPU gets too hot. Yep time to get a better one.

The rejoin functon is mainly there to give you the privilege of seeing your Mech blow up and enjyoing the derision of your team mates. "Why are you just walking in a straight line? + expletives + excalamation marks"

You get used to it.

Happens all the time on my multi-monitor setup. I find that if I move my mouse out of the game to my left monitor (primary is on right), then click OUTSIDE the game and alt-tab back in, that tends to fix it. Until the next time.

Very disheartening lining up a shot where I'm "peek-a'ing ", ending up outside the game and getting "boo'ed".

I have a daughter just over two. For whatever reason, she goes absolutely nuts for anything even remotely resembling a robot. Transformers, 'mechs, Robocop, etc. She responds to them more than just about anything else and DEMANDS to spend at least part of the day in my lap at the computer watching "yobots" and laughing her ass off whenever lasers are fired.

SHe loves to press buttons though and my keyboard has every key lit--almost irresistible for a kid her age especially when she finds a button that does something. Well, that includes the power down button and she has powered me down at some VERY bad times before.
