Point Made, But some IS Pilots will Complain until they Get the Same Benefits of the Clans,
Adding the IS-Light-Engines and the IS-ER-ML i feel will stop allot of the complaints,

They just got a 100t assault with a standard engine, large movement archetype, huge torso twist, dual AC20s with room for more weapons, and can practically outperform every other assault in the game.

Don't see us Clan guys complaining, despite the fact that a King Crab vs my Mist Lynx has the exact same effect as a Dire Wolf vs an IS light. I guess one-shotting is okay unless it's an IS light getting one-shotted?

Really wish the IS fanboys would stop their crusade to continue nerfing the Clans. I can't always take a Timberwolf, Stormcrow, or Dire Wolf, and even if I could, it's not like it's a walk in the park facing off against pulse boat Thunderbolts, Firestarters, dual AC-20/Gauss Jagers, SRM splatting Griffons/Shadowhawks, quirked AC-20 Hunchbacks, and the many other extremely solid IS builds.

I wouldn't mind the IS having the extra lights, or whatever they're called. I seem to remember that they started coming out later in the invasion and were not really into full use until near the Battle of Tukayyid. It doesn't matter to me one way or the other. The good IS pilots play to their mech's advantages. The fodder tend to try and face tank clan heavies and assaults at 500 meters, which is generally the sweet spot for all our weapon systems.

IS has vastly superior brawling potential. My Dragonslayer, Protector (I know, rare as hen's teeth these days), and Cataphract 3D can hold their own against clan mechs. I can also add in the Griffin, Jester, and Ember into that pile. God... the Ember is amazing. I've had several matches with 5+ kills in that thing, it's a beast.

I have a hard time with the clan mechs, frankly. They are super hot even with a plethora of heatsinks and I've died more from accidental alphas than I have from skilled adversaries. Still, I prefer a medium to long range mech with decent speed. The important part of that is that I stay at that range. If a brawler is able to close on me, I'm in pretty serious trouble. I can hurt them, but, I generally don't have the heat to take them down before they either cripple or kill me.

I think that a lot of these people that call for clan nerfs have never really played in one. I have something like 80ish mechs at present and I mastered all my IS stuff first. Of course, being one of the original group of players, I've been around a long while. So, from someone that's played a ridiculous amount of rounds in both IS and Clan... I don't see the need for the nerf.

What's happening is the same thing that has happened since the beginning of the game: "I was out of position and died, nerf opponents with better tactical positioning than myself". Believe me, I've been one of those guys screaming at the screen too and cursing in such a way that a sailor would blush.

We're going to hear this complaint a lot. It really doesn't have anything to do with the clans or clan tech itself. I would, however, agree that it would be nice if the IS got the light fusion engine earlier than season 3 (if they're going by the timeline). Doesn't matter to me one way or the other.
