Heya guys.

I am a lone wolf and was wondering if the new CW changes are anything for me?

Will pugs still drop like before or and do we get added dropship mode with 4
mech in it to respawn in?

I have read some about this but still this isnt clear to me.

There'll be three separate modes of play on the 16th.

Solo ghetto.
Group drops.
Community warfare.

The drop ship 4 mech rule is only in effect in community warfare, and community warfare will use different maps, with different win conditions.

CW=Pugs mixed with groups + dropship mode for everyone involved. Dropship mode only in CW initially.

If you drop in cw queue you have 4 mech drop deck.

If you drop in public queue you drop and play exactly as you did before

As with any scenario: It depends.

Is this game mode is for you specifically? Depends on if you want to play competitive or not. It is essentially the competitive queue for this game with little/no limitations like elo, 3x4 (loosely), or group sizes. It is not for the casual player and was never intended to be. You may drop with 11 pugs vs 12 on enemy team, or you may get a group of 4 with 8 pugs on your team and face a 12 man on the enemy.

Regular queues will not change in the slightest, the way things are now in current game modes will be how they are after release. Just think of CW as an expansion with a separate (competitive) game mode, queue, and rules.

Put simply yes you can pug it, but be aware you might get stuck vs a 12 man and get stomped from time to time by them. Most importantly be ready for a lot of QQ both in game and these forums. Competitive queues from any game have plenty of griefers and CW will be no different.
