For anyone who has purchased one (or more) of the released mechs a la carte: did you have the option of a faction reward package (paint/camo/cockpit items) or was the only for people who purchased one of the main packages?

I ask because even the lowest tier (the lights only) got at least one.

If you buy a la carte you only get the three mechs, no extras. I think PGI would make more sales if they let the customer chose which mechs to buy at the various levels. I would have bought some Wave II and Resistence mechs if I could have choosen say to buy the Zues at level 1 and the Zues and Grasshoper at level 2. As it is I wont be buying anything at the a la carte prices.
