Map Idea: Expansive, Massively Scaled, Major City.

We have river city, and we have frozen city. The problem with both? Both "cities" can be traversed in miniscule amounts of time, and both have tall buildings semi-sparse.

I'll reference this concept art as a example of a REAL major, expansive, future city:

Needs to be alpine-size or larger. One edge of the map should be coast, with non-functioning-but-still-structurally-intact drpship, ala concept art. Buildings should be of unimaginable scale, but streets should be wide enough for multiple mechs and there should be a surplus of cars, trucks, streetlights, etc.

Layout as per my idea:

Entire map is excessively tall city buildings etc. (very few buildings you can jumpjet to at all [including staircasing with spider]). Wide streets with long (but not map covering) straightaways. Not TOO many diff. streets, as to potentially trap unsuspecting pilots for lrm'age (so they aren't useless in city area). Park offset to north and slightly east/west, covers ~7-11% of city area (not including coast). Coastline to south. Water area ~1/5 total North-to-South distance of map, expands entire West-to-East distance. 1-3 Large dropships that are non-functional but structurally intact are landed in the water. 1-2 mechbay areas total may be explored for awesomeness purposes. Drop points at West and East borders w/ 1 in line horizontally w/ park, 1 in line with coastline, 1 in between the two.

I think this could be a very diverse map with many ways to play. Long range & lrms at the park and water. Short range with a bit of long range and lrm potential on long streets. Very sparse radar sig's, so ecm may actually give you away.

P.S. Street design should be as per modern day cities now. Instead of awkward and strange river city layouts. Think MW4 Cities I guess (whether that brings good or bad memories, I'm only talking layout.)
