I know what that's like since my gaming community who has been around since 2008 lost a dear friend and member in 2010.

may he rest in the blessing of blake. my condolences to you and his family. my older brother died in 2004 and would have loved this game as well .he was a die hard mechwarrior as well.wish i could still play games with him so i do know what you are going through.
