Ok so we finally got Community Warfare.

My teammates and I have a few questions hopefully someone can answer for those in the same boat, so here goes:

Q: Can you queue as a group?

Q: How do you queue as a group?

Q: How long is the typical wait time to get pulled into a game?

Q: Is there a method to getting into games quicker?

Q: How does the Attacker / Defender win?

Q:For the Attacker what are the steps to winning? i.e.-How do you actually destroy the cannon?

Defender wins by stopping the Attacker
Attacker wins by shooting teh big gunny thing or killing the defenders
The gun is destroyed by shooting the generator, looks the same as the one that opens the doors

I wait between 1-10 minutes for a game.

How do you even know you are in queue when you are in a group? At least solo, you get the lobby with the timer.

Do you need a full group of 4? My group of 2 has been waiting an hour.

So, your group needs to ready up in the normal group window, and the launch button will light up in the faction window.. sat around waiting for an hour because we didnt know that

Can I play with a unit if I am not in that unit?

Where do you see the group launch button? My leader is not finding it.

You need to make a unit group in the faction tab I think.

The attacker needs to destroy the gun, killing all defender mechs will not give you the win! You can still lose as attacker if you kill all the defending mechs but the timer runs out.

Yes, I think you need to make a unit group. Then once you have done that, the leader selects the planet, and everyone must join him there. Then everyone readies up in the normal group window. Then the launch button should light up for the leader on the planet screen.

It is extremely convoluted.. TERRIBLE UI

Only option I get when creating a group is "Create Public Group".

I am my units Leader, so it isn't a permissions thing.

I've been futzing with it for 20 minutes now, I can't figure out how to drop with multiple people. Me and a buddy are wanting to play, we both click on the same planet to attack, and nothing pops into the queue. Then we try as a public group, readying, and that drops us into a pug game. So where are this unit groups? How do you make one?

In the SOCIAL UI, go to the UNIT TAB on your friends list. CREATE UNIT GROUP.

No kidding. I wouldn't have figured that out anytime soon, and there's no official documentation that I found through all my searching. It's kinda bunk I can't play with people in the same house, they all have to be in my specific unit.

Could you join as a Clan less Warrior aligned to a Clan? my Clan Seems to have stopped playing MWO. and I'm now basically With out a clan..

Only your faction was removed. Your leader has to choose again a faction to make a (timed or permanent) contract for the unit. The units itself are untouched.

As long as you are member of a group and your leader hasnt signed a contract you can not play cw. You would have to leave.

As a single player you can choose a faction and start playing cw solo.
