So how DO you damage it? We got all the way in, started blasting the cannon and anything else we saw then the dropship came in and soon enough we were all falling like flies due to the enemy and their dropship blasting us.
Anyone managed to blow up their base?

Yes its in the back base of the gun. Fairly obvious once you circle around it.
