Thank you @rainharder, good tips, will try and report back later.
Thank you xengk, I'm Malaysian too
just working and living in HK, missed my family so much in Puchong, SEL. I think am using Unify? 4MB only, ping was around 290ms, not as good as you, that was during CNY2015.
Thanks @Romeo Deluxe for notice, will notice for it, also report back later.
I've been getting seldom & random GHOST_CPU_LOAD, suddenly 100% and fps drops to 10Hz, then finally found out solution is ALT+TAB go to desktop, open up task manager, just looking at it for 3 seconds and CPU_LOAD drops to normal 60% +/- working up and down, and ALT+TAB return to play and all OK immediately. Weird.

I would suggest you try using Pingzapper. I live in Beijing and it reduces my ping from 290-300 to around 250.
Thank you xengk, I'm Malaysian too

I am playing from Malaysia, on the same time zone as Hong Kong.
Local ISP is Telekom Malaysia, on their Unifi 10MB package.
My Ping is between 230 to 280, it can get worst during weekend afternoon, spiking at 500+ Ping.
Ping statistics for 192.99.109.192:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 237ms, Maximum = 237ms, Average = 237ms

Between the lag and the FPS dropping every match, this game is getting to be unplayable.

I'm posting my tracert from Bandung, Indonesia but I don't know if that is worth something, lol:

I usually play with ~280ms ping and for the first time, it was a big difference compared to my ~100ms ping from when I was living in Germany but I don't notice it anymore as time goes by
BTW could you explain what my tracert result tells me? Like for example, the route my signal has to travel and where I experience the highest latency.

TM doesn't have a 4MB Unifi package, I think you are on TM Streamyx.
Unifi is on TM's new fibre optic, Streamyx is xDSL and still on copper wire.
I used to have 250~300 Ping, but after PGI shifted their servers last year, my Ping improved.
I am from Penang originally, now working in KL.

Thank you @Hit the Deck, I'm not network engineer, hence also asking same questions as you regarding my route. Hence sorry I don't have knowledge to explain to you.
But this internet cable map under sea is interesting, may be you can have a look and compare http://www.submarinecablemap.com/

Thanks for correction. BTW I'm looking for Cantonese speaking players, introduce me to them if you know any, thanks
