Silly question really, I suspect I know the answer, but...
When a mech says it has a laser quirk, such as "laser duration", does that apply to pulse lasers, or only to non-pulse? Do pulse quirks only apply to those that call out the pulse weapons?

If it has a "Laser Duration" quirk, it applies to all lasers, be they SPL or ERLL or whatever. If it has a "Large Laser Duration" quirk, it only applies to LL, and does not apply to LPL or ERLL.

I've heard that duration and range also apply to TAG, when its a general "energy" bonus.
I haven't tested it personally as I hardly ever use LRM's, but somebody here on the forums can likely confirm it.

I've no idea what "duration" would do to TAG.... Missile range affects NARCs, though.

Laser Range affects tag.
Laser Duration affects Pulse and regular lasers, but doesn't affect TAG for obvious reasons.
If a Quirk specifies a weapon directly (medium laser, large pulse laser for example) it only applies to that specific weapon.

A ballistic quirk (specifically speed) also affects PPCs.
