Ok they made the queue to benefit groups , especially 12 mans. But this makes no sense.
Considering all the flak they received about solo and group queues in the past it really makes no sense.

The real problem I have is that why not involve the whole community in CW, by default put people as a merc. If they picked a faction then put them in that automatically, . Make all matches count towards the CW map even if people are just playing on the other game maps (possibly at a reduced reward rate) , after all you have objectives but you also have to secure against resistance or possible guerrilla forces.

As for the CW queue they should have used the current solo/group system and just add the faction/matchmaking function for matching players instead of easy win for the 12 man vs the PUG.Or maybe they just don't want too many people having too many matches and like the long queues for solo players?

My longest wait so far is just over 30 minutes with cancelling maps after a 6-10 minute wait then starting a new map and repeating the selection process despite the flash message of planet X needs defenders! Not really what I would call a playable game even if it is 'Beta'.

It would be so easy to have a generalised planet selector in that queues are filled for each faction's planets in order by all available pilots and mercenary's can be used to fill in the gaps.At the moment you can have odd factions fighting for other factions despite technically being opposed to each other.

By all means let clans and 12 mans select which planets they want to fight over but let the randoms just enter a queue to fight for any planet that is available and in their solo queue as they really can't lay claim to anything anyway nor do they probably care , all most people want is to have a decent game that they at least have a chance in and not a roflstomp .

Technically CW is the game , the community have been waiting for this for a very long time , but if there are too few people actually doing it then something is wrong at the very core of it. (especially considering potential rewards).

But again it really does come down to why one section of the community benefits so obviously from CW whilst yet again another section is penalised.

So how do you count a win/loss when you have each team mixed with various different clans and factions involved even within a single team? The obvious answer is you can't, because it won't work.
