If I could find a good resource for the past of the Battletech history license changes and legal issues
This would really be awesome if I could some help from you all ESP the developers.
I would love to have a quote from a developer for my paper.

It may be easier to force on a clan or such. How long have you been in this scene?

There is also some info here, though it is hardly comprehensive.
The novels are of course a great source to see the politics and history, but I doubt you have time to find/read many of them

The REAL truth is far more interesting (and simpler).
Unfortunately, most of the good bits are buried under court order.
