You want to participate? Be in a TS and be in a Unit.
Explain that gradually to newbies and the problem with cease to exist.
Stop crying to moma so that she fixes it for you.
Random rage and a slightly less rude version of "put on your big boy pants!" accomplishes nothing and fails to address the problems.
The OP brings up a valid point.
1) This idea would help casual players - sure, certain people hate casual players because they aren't "man enough" to live for the game, but the reality is that most players are casual and would like to participate in CW.
2) It would reduce queue times for CW and allow people to get games faster. Since half the threads around here lately seem to be "Community Wait" and other variations of that, I don't see why anyone would be opposed to this idea. Unless, of course, they just love to complain, whine about PGI, but avoid any actual solutions that might compromise their "exclusiveness" of being in CW.
3) It is Lore acceptable. Planets are held by factions in Battletech, not by units. They don't care if lone wolves crop up who are still faction loyal. You never turn away any loyal mech pilot - even a loner - if he's on your side and the bullets are flying.
I say it's a great idea.

Use the five minutes you have before the drop to get everyone on coms.
Like SRSLY, does someone hold your yen lo for you when you pee?
More chest-beating and again, failing to address the user's points.
Looks like Community Warfare is turning into Community Epeen Stroking.
Gotta love it.
