Well CW is here and rolling along. Some of you guys are absolutely killing me with your lack of understanding CW, with the months of lead up talk to it.

That aside, heres a run down of whats going on in teh Sphere.

First and foremost, the LORDs did not take Apollo, even though it was mostly defended by Pugs. This is hilarious.

WoL was unable to take Spica, and the Davions under NGNG leadership were able to take both Zion, and St, Loris, giving the Federated Suns, the Big Mo'.

Clans were unable to take any territory, probably due to the popularity and ease of getting into those matches as opposed to faction on faction warfare.

Steiner was able to pick up its long lost Port Moseby. Waiting to hear if Vassago and his boys were in on that one.

The big news is that organized 12 mans, didnt flip two of the planets they were targeting. The lords especially is pretty paltry considering...theyre the Lords....

Some other happenings of lesser note, were successful defenses along the Marik/Laio Border, and some defenses by Marik along the Steiner border.

The Dracs seem paralyzed at the moment not knowing where to go, but successfully defending a number of worlds, especially Turtle Bay, but making no gains.

NGNG seems to be the single most "movin" unit at the moment, but we'll see them hop around the sphere quite a bit, being a promotional team mainly. Too long at any one House, and they might upset things with the horde of players following them for fames and funs.

This was your poorly written Comstar update from the front.

Hot spots are already starting to kick up today, as players wake up, call out of work, play hooky, and generally get themselves into the game.

Wait times we hope will be shorter today. I got 9 matches in yesterday, mostly in and around Apollo.

Dracs and Steiner have alot of thanks to give to the pugs of the inner sphere, who came to their aid from all the houses, to defend thier worlds from Jade Falcon, Wolf, and Smoke Jaguar.

Great first day of CW.

I like the unit props you have but see this thread from a Steiner (http://mwomercs.com/...t-steiner-news/) about the same thing. (s)He does not have the Unit focus like you do but the way that he has incorporated planet results, maps, and faction results is great.

I just want to say that the mighty Dragon has indeed made inroads into Rasalhague, even if we have had some setbacks from the Fedrats and some Steiner scout lances.

At Halesowen?! I missed that apparently. Great job Dracs!

And yeah that guy has a great Steiner centric thing going.

Clearly I need maps and graphs. Theres just not much to show yet being the first day. But I hear you. Must improve. That Steiner report is pretty slick.

I do want to focus mainly on the entire global conflict, and units mostly. Units are going to be the driving forces behind CW, and with the bragging rights coming from your unit being recognized in defense and offense its easy to track.

Laio cant seem to put up a defense on Saramac.

Factions are gonna need to start using their forums and TS. Hopefully with the holidays we can get some guys to rise to leadership. Ive got the time, and the vision, but not the willpower to herd cats.

Id definitely start telling your solos, to get on the forums.

Dont see WoL this morning, and 15DR doesnt have enough people on.

Where does one get this information to put together such a report?

I was rooting around in the FACTION/CW tab last night but couldn't see who was involved in what battle for whichever world unless i was going off my own in-battle team lists.

In the field Journalism. Being there. Asking friends in these groups and players at those worlds.

Good old fashioned Kronkite ****.

PGI really needs to figure out a better way to convey this sort of information to players for CW, right now I get the feeling that unless you are haunting the forums and sending messages between large units you have no idea what the heck is going on.

If someone where to do 'Inner Sphere News' or INS on Youtube and did CW updates like this with incredible detail I bet it would have a lot of views of people wanting to know the state of conflict.

Edit: Right now NGNG's Kiriesani and her rag tag band of Inner Sphere warriors are fighting off Clan Ghost Bear on the Inner Sphere planet Leoben in FRR territory. They have changed it from 8 wins to 6 wins so far! They are preventing the planet from falling to the dirty clanners.

Love those of you who are taking the time to post things like this! Keep it up! It's unfortunate we don't have some sort of team to work on doing an up-to-date ComStar feed consistently throughout the day. You and Catalina Steiner throw the information together quite well!

More people should start using this thread: http://mwomercs.com/...matches-faster/

I have a feeling it would work if enough people posted what they were doing.

If someone is willing to make a video recording I can throw it together, mix it up, edit it or whatever is necessary even if it's just a video overlay that is themed for MWO/ComStar. My voice is too stupid and there are so many talented people out there that can get the message across more exciting and tons of RP. I will lend a hand in doing whatever I can to contribute to someone doing this.

Big thanks for this. :)

CW is delivering excactly what we hoped for - drama, stories, lore debates - things any community lives by.

And even in this early beta stage it is a lot of fun as well.^^

Eguilles, Camelon and Tripoli in the Draconis Combine seem lost. But theyre going to pick up Benet III from the Federated Suns.

Saramax in Capellan space is lost, and Pella II seems sure to fall.

Clan Wolf unit CWI seems poised to give up their gains on Skallevoll.

Fierce defenses still on Apollo and Turtle bay.

Small attack by WoL on Scarburough.

HHoG seem behind the attacks on Saramax, running mostly unopposed.

Capellans trying to make a move on Ikast.

C4 has taken 6 wins on Sarmaxa as of last night, as far as I know. Liao didn't want it, so we ran amuk in the base. Lost 3 brave pilots to the turrets.
