1) Please make the queue visible. Whatever the reason for hiding it shouldn't outweigh the fact that it causes an unpleasant matchmaking experience for the player.
2) Please make the Defend/Attack/Counter-attack selection visible during the match selection process so that players know what they're signing up for. If you think players will have trouble forming matches because either attacking or defending are more desirable, then you have a problem with how you've designed the game mode that needs to be fixed.
3) And/or please remove the volleyball scoring system.
At the start of an invasion, a winning attack should get a token. The attackers should keep getting tokens as long as they have a winning streak.
After the attacking team wins at least one match, a successful defense should stop the winning streak but not remove a counter. Consecutive defensive wins should remove counters.
That way if you sign up to defend, you're defending. If you sign up to attack, you're attacking. And both options have an impact on the planet status.
3) Drop decks reset after logging out. Please make this part of the user profile like weapon groupings are.
4) Clan balance is definitely out of whack given the map design and advantage that alpha strikes have over DPS.
