Alexander,

I have played multiple CW matches with my video textures set to medium and I have not had any further memory allocation errors while running in DX9. You may wonder why I am still running under DX9 when I have such a new powerful computer. I run DX9 because OverWolf, the TeamSpeak 3 plugin is only fully compatible with DX9 not DX11.

This is an issue with the authors of OverWolf, not PGI.

Thanks for the help.

Regards,

Aidan

I tried both DX11 and Medium textures (3570k & hd7850) and it fixed almost all memory issues. I haven't received the typical memory error but once I errored out right after the loading screen.

Glad to hear that these methods are reducing these issues!

We've got some news coming tomorrow that will provide an even better boost, for some players....

can't wait for the 64 bit client, but I am curious as to why the allocation errors are happening at all, I run a laptop with 4g ram and low settings. I have tried this with both dx 9 and 11 and there is no difference in either for me
