Scratch what I said above. The Victor is a bit too slow and quickly gets overwhelmed against Clan attackers. I'm instead going to trade it for another AC/20 mech, the good old Hunchback. With the extra tonnage available I'm going to switch to a Catapult or a Thunderbolt (would consider a Jager, but I don't have any).

I think I might rebuild the HBK-4G so that it takes a 225 standard to allow for more AC/20 ammo as it runs out too quickly. My CTF-4X is currently a street sweeper with a pair of LB-10/X and 9 tons of ammo. That's way more than is needed for the standard match, but for these drops you needs lots of ammo.

At first I tryed 2 hellbringer and 2 stormcrow, but I saw that these 2 maps aren't made for sniping with my hellbringers, so I came to this:
Timber laservomit
Timber dakka 2uac10 + some ml
stormcrow laser vomit
Kit fox 1lpl+2ml
The kit fox's never dropped untill now, so I imagine this works

Going to try this tomorrow:

Cataphract-3D
Dragon-1N
Shadowhawk-2H
Hunchback-P

The hunchback being intended as last unit, for poking holes in already damaged people and not needing to worry about ammo.

I'm at 240 tons using:
Victor
Cataphract
Centurion
Cicada

The CDA stays the same but I have different variants for the other chassis with different load-outs for attack vs defend.

Won't spoil what I think about drop decks too much but you don't really need all 4 mechs IMO.

I've determined that PGI knew exactly how CW would be implemented when they released the Phoenix package.

TDR-5S(P)
TDR-9S
SHD-2H(P)
SHD-2D2 (technically, I'm using the "Alpha Surprise" Trollbuchet right now, but my point still stands)

Now, if they just give me my Phoenix Medallions back so I can choose more wisely, I'll never have to switch 'mechs again.
