SO.. would I be correct in assuming that it only matters if you have 10 chips at the time of turn over?

If so, this seems to me that there is no real impact of any battles up until about 3-4 hours (generously) before the switch. Given that, would it be more effective to set the map to flip 3x a day? Every 8 hours or so, or maybe 6 hour (noon, 6pm, midnight)

That way, the people that only have availability to fight in the AM (server time) have an appreciable effect on the outcome.
